In the short term, it may increase your economy. But, later, it may decrease the economy, because all the dumb people can't get jobs requiring decent education.
Marcelonia recommends to have a group of elite children raised up to become the future leaders and furthering the nation in militaristic and scientific areas whilst sending all dumb kids off to work since they'll never get a higher education anyway, why bother financing it?
