not enough issues!

Man, I have gotten the same issues over and over again.

I have submitted a pair of pretty decent, serious and well-thought-out issues but I haven't gotten any response. How long does it take before the 'editors' look through a submitted issue?

A fair while. There's a big backlog of issues, but new ones do come onto "the market" every now and again.

It takes quite a while to code the issues to get them to show correctly...

That wouldn't be a pointed jab at a certain high-profile mod, now would it?

so it takes a while to code issues?

any way that us on the user-side could speed that process up for these poor souls who are too busy to make the game not redundant? I don't know how many times I've jailed those poor animal liberationists.

any way we can submit what is lower-level code to make it quicker to add to the game?

Yeah, if there is anyway we can help code...even if it is a little bit...we'd be willing to do. Or at least I would be.

absolutely. there are quite a few of us here profient enough in programming i'm sure to help with the encoding of these things. I'd be willing to help/join the team just for the sake of getting a new infusion of issues in there.

just tired of the same issues coming up time after time

possibly just written up by someone else

i currently dismiss many more issues than i choose to use an it is rather boring to see the same ones pop up again.
02-02-2004, 02:57
yeah I have to agree. maybe the sequel will see faster releases

1. This is a free game. You can't expect the same quality as you would from a pay-to-play game. The mods have real lives too you know.

2. Coding issues is hard. It also takes a while. We have some new mods who are going to start coding more issues soon-ish, so you can expect the rate to speed up some. If you are patient, you can expect some great things.

so how does one climb the slippery ladder of the ranks and rise above puny underling status? Come on, I have a ton of friends playing the game in my region and all of them are getting insanely bored with the repetative daily issues.

Some admin made mention of why we can't help a while ago. It would require knowing a lot more of the variables of the game than would be good for you (ie magic is boring when you know the secret).
My advice is to submit your own issues. And when you write them, to code them according to the guidelines already set forth elsewhere.

Although we are very appreciative of your enthusiasm it's simply something that can't happen. The only non-GM allowed is SalusaSecondus.

What you CAN do to help is to write very good issues with as few spelling and grammar errors as possible, use the guidelines and make it interesting. The better the issue, the quicker we can edit them.

I have recently joined Nation states and am enjoying it greatly. i would like to agree with your point of the fact that there not enough of the issues i would like to extend this idea to that there are not enough to deal with as at most you can recieve only up to 2 a day adn these issues dont normally take more than 2 minutes of disscussion or thought and then they are passed i belive that if there were an ongoing amount of issues in the time that you are logged on to this system then you could have a better idea of the running of your nation and that also the issues could become more indepth and so you would have a beytter form of control over your personal nation. If i was to propose such a thing i would like to ask where such an idea is to be posteed or sent.

Thank you for your concern please feel free to contact my nation by telegraph

yours faithfully
