After answering the issue about music file sharing, I have "a cyber-war between file sharers and the music industry formats harddives accross the country"

Shouldn't that be something like, "a cyber-war between file sharers and the music industry [which is] format[ting] hard d[r]ives [across] the country"?

And now you've seen this, I guess you can lock it.

That said, I'd leave out the "which" in your suggested phrasing. That is, phrase it as "a cyber-war between file sharers and the music industry is formatting hard drives across the country."
