For the past three days, a group of about a hundred thousand angry, picketing feminists have camped out on and around the front lawns of some important government buildings. Some have taken to harassing men who are going about their business, and all of them have demands of varying degrees of extremeness.

The Debate

1. "For thousands of years, men have oppressed women! The government must put a stop to this!" demands a group of angry, bra-burning feminists on the legislature's front lawn. "Pay women nore money, give them more and better jobs, and give women more education opportunities! Starting from the first day of school! Never mind that you're going to have to take money from...say, education for men; they can take care of themselves."

2. "Funding isn't enough; we demand concrete power!" cries another group of even more extreme feminists, some of whom pause their chants to harass businessmen getting off a train. "It's time to turn the tables on the male oppressors and let them see how it feels to be disadvantaged! WOMEN TAKE OVER! We're going to be the ones wo clean up the country! Put women in power and we'll take @@NAME@@ to glory!"

3. "Just a second here," chimes in moderate feminist @@RANDOMNAME@@ between puffs on a joint. "There's a lot wrong with the government, and it does give women the short end of the stick, but giving women an unfair advantage or turning the government over to nut jobs won't help anything. We need to ban discrimination based on gender in any institution that gets government funding. That includes all those businesses that get kickbacks from the government.

4. "These women are doing WHAT?" shouts a group of men coming from a @@NAME@@ for Families First meeting. "We need more restrictions on women, not government handouts to them! Whp's going to raise the families of @@NAME@@ when the men are out earning money? We need to ban women from leaving the house without their husbands' permission and arrest these protestors for breaking that law...what? You say these women are mostly unmarried? Well, that should be against the law too!"

Going for the opposite angle actually, wouldn't an issue proposing to demote and restrict either men or women as second-class citizens or virtual slavehood be more appropraite and fun for the few psycho nations that could qualify?

This is quite the fanatical issue. I like it, though. :twisted:

Well, I don't know if I should restrict the validity, but one of the things i find ironic about this issue is that I would most likely dismiss it. Unless I was trying to be different...

Yes, that happens to several of my own issues too. :roll: Just to say I answered my own, though, I decided to allow studios to copy-protect CDs in my latest one that was approved.

I think this is a great issue. Tweak it a bit, fix the typos and grammar, work out the restrictions and effects, and submit it. I'd like to see this kind of issue pop up.

I at least put in varying degrees of feminism. If I were being unfair it would be a choice between suppressing men and suppressing women.

You think that "moderate" feminism is what feminism really is. I would not call the 1st option really feminist, and definitely not the 2nd.

They call themselves feminists, even if they are not feminists in the traditional sense. Feminism in the traditional sense is more what I would call libertarianism with a female-centric point of view. Of course, like just about anything, some people hijack it for their own personal beliefs that they hope will bring them into power. That's what Option 2 is.

1- Woman demands than men wash their hands before eating and after behing evry visit to the toilet.

2- Woman demand to get paid for every little time they cook your meal

3- Woman demand that man put down the toilet bowl

4- Oh what the heck, shall we pay men anyway, every body should be paid equally man and woman according to their education.

5- Woman or man shall not wear any clothes in their houses, this is to diminish the need to wash clothes and to gave woman a break for washing clothes.

6- Woman has the power since we are 50,8 % of the world population.

7- Maybe woman shall turn themself as an Amazone, you remember what they did to their man after sex.... :twisted:
