What if I don't like the options?

Really,
There's a difference in the things I don't care about (which I just dismiss) and the things that I do care about, but none of the listed options are acceptable to me. I'm offered to choose between X and Y, both of which seem lunatic (and I'd like to not run a totally lunatic government, yet <g>).

What do you do?

The issues are meant to be extreme like this. Some are even- "Either torture your people, or let them do what they want." Lol. You could always submit an issue.

Congrats on First Post! You even got the right Forum.
Many newbies don't even get that right. :)

You can dismiss the issues too, but that will slow the development of your country's stats, so even that's a toss-up :?

EDIT: Thanks for the catch :D

Not growth - population isn't affected by issues. It will slow the development of your country, stats slower to change, etc.

Now hold on a moment. You say that population is not affected by issues. But different countries clearly grow at a different pace. A friend of mine joined my region days AFTER I did, and currently has a bigger population. Wouldn't things like the tax rate or possibly the level of freedom in your nation effect the rate of population growth?

Population increases randomly by 5, 6, or 7 million per day. You're an old enough nation that the difference between you and your friend could be conceivable. It has nothing to do with your issues, though...

Randomly? Bah. That's less fun than being affected by things like tax rates and so forth.
