For consideration as a issue:

Today protests from a pro-democracy group were met at the capital:

"We believe that our great nation should hold its elections soon. For too long we have been oppresed by our dictators." says ***Randomname***. Full elections should be held and a new government should be placed. [option 1]

"Elections smections" says ***Randomname*** Minster of justice. These people should be rounded up and excuted under the Patriot act of 2000. We don't need elections things are just fine in ***countryname***.

Option 1 should raise your political level at least 2 points.
Option 2 should decrease your political level 2 points.
It spoofs the "Democracy Now" Political activists

No, validity, is what types of nations it is valid for, and effects are the little blurbs after the issue is passed.

You get here by clicking in "issues" and "want to submit an issue? Do it here", with here being a link.

But first you might want to get some input.

And what are the validity and effects going to be?

Validaity: Any nation that is below the 2 top political levels.
Effects:
Option 1: "Your nation has had it's first election in years."
Option 2: "The Secret Police is cracking down on pro-democracy advocates."

Read this (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=52491). It will tell you the codes of the issues so you can fix them.

***Randomname*** isn't how you do it. ;)

Hmm for validity what about below thetop to political levels, and above the top 4, and for option 2, what about "The first 'truely open' election has been held in @@NAME@@ since it's founding"

Otherwise it'll seem more like a spoof of the "People demad a little less dictatroship, if that's all right" issue than of Democracy Now.

Just a suggestion of course.

Could be that he was worried that the macros would work in the forums.

Actually, @@NAME@@ isn't how it's coded either, it works for submissions
