I originally had a nation with high stats on all three scales on top of the nation page. Since then, I have been trying to bring down my stats to the minimum of all scales (since a good country got boring). Unfortunately, no matter what I try, I can't seem to make my country live up to its name ("The Dystopia of..."). Has anyone with good experience in the issues know what I may need to do?

The best way is usually to focus on one area, and bring it down first, before moving on to the others.

For what it's worth, I've got a nation I'm trying to do that with. And have been trying for about 5 months now. It takes awhile.

i've only been here a couple of months, seen only about a third
of the issues, if that percent, seen so far two repeats, which i
guess that part ain't bad, consistently kept civil rights up and environment in good shape at
the expense of economics and not
at all sure where whatever flaws in political freedoms may have
come from, but now all of a sudden
out of thin air 'the game' seems
to have impossed some sort of coupe d'tate (however that's spelled)
and saddled me with some kind of dictatorship, like i said out of
thin air. i mention that here only because it seems to fit in
with what you say you are wanting
some sort of more challanging internal situation.
you're welcome to it as far as i'm concerned. but consistently favoring everything else over economic interests is all i can think of that might have brought this about. so if that's what you WANT to have happin my guess would be you can always try that and see if it does.
