Surely a scientist would be say that aliens probably do exist, since he or she would be aware of the sheer number of planets in the universe, and that the chances of only ours being able to support life are very low indeed. If you think scientifically, you realise the chances of extraterrestrial life (though not necessarily spacefaring sentient life) is actually very high.

However, I agree that the scientist would believe UFOs are hoaxes.

I'm not sure that's a physicist's field, anyway. And I've been going to school and college with aliens for the past 14 years, so how can anybody say they don't exist?

I did think it was slightly dodgy myself, U.F.Os seems slightly strange to me but it was accepted but i think a lot of people will simply dismiss it, personally.
