Author's note: I am also proposing, with the addition of this issue, that each nation be given the right to declare a capital city. The format of choosing a capital city should be the same as choosing a national animal or currency - just type it in on the "Settings" page. The idea is that, for all nations currently in existence, the capital city's name would initially be @@NAME@@ City until the nation's leader changes it, so my capital would be Ice Hockey Players City unless I want to change its name. Therefore, if I submit this issue without capital cities being allowed, the @@CITY@@ tags that I use that are presently not in existence would be altered. Anywho, here goes with the issue.



A group of fanatics from the outer regions of @@NAME@@ perpetrated a deadly terrorist attack on heavily populated areas of @@CITY@@, killing 2,500 people, most of whom were civilians. People all over the nation are split on how to respond to this attack.

1. "Revenge is sweet, and it's simple," clamors @@CITY@@ resident @@RANDOMNAME@@. "Plus it will show these lunatics that we mean business. Go into these outer regions, weed out the scum, line up the wackos, and blow their heads off. That's the easiest thing to do."

The patriotic thing to do is to comply with the government."

Treat these terrorists like any other criminal and put hem through the criminal justice system! To do otherwise gives them exactly what they want! Turn them into the common criminals they are!"

"We can destroy all cities in @@NAME@@ and force you to live like nomads if we want! We have a major base of operation in @@CITY@@! Surrender the country to us at once, and let us lead the nation into a brighter future free from the tyranny and oppression of the current order!"

We must go to war to capture those who organized this attack, and we must take down the regimes that supported them! Remember @@CITY@@ and fight for its honor!"

I like the idea of capital city, but for the anarchists, communalists or 'free communities' that wouldn't apply.

I should add two things.

1. I don't know what the hell Imperialist Forces meant by his post.

2. The issue really only applies to democracies. It wouldn't work as well in a dictatorship, and it certainly wouldn't work at all in an anarchy.

Hmmm...I guess I had no idea that the @@NAME@@ thingy in the title appeared as a country's name in actuality. I am guessing that people read it as "Ice Hockey Players Under Attack!" rather than "@@NAME@@ Under Attack!" on the forum "Most Recent Posts" thingy and thought that something bad happened. That having been said, I will probably submit the issue soon.
