Can somebody please explain why I keep getting the same issues over and over and over again? Today I got the same issue for the FOURTH time.

Because there's a limited pool of issues.

Do you mean fourth time total, or fourth time in a row? The most times I've had the same issue in a row was three, which resulted in nudity being banned, voluntary and compulsory at the same time. If you like one of the options for the issue, go ahead & keep picking it and it'll push your nation further in that direction. Or pick diffrent ones each time to have contradictory results in your spotlight. Or if you hate it(like I hate the shooter one) just keep dismissing it.

And if you want more issues, hang around here, get a feel for how they're made. Critique the ones that ask for imput and tell others the effects of issues you've encountered. With time insiration will strike(or it may possibly be a wet trout, we're not always sure here) and you'll have an idea for an issue to add to the mods backlog.

I posted this problem yesterday. But if we dismiss the issue, doesn't it just push us farther from the option we chose in the first place?

Not really. Supposedly, nothing changes, although there have been reports that this actually reduces government size and increases political freedoms. Indeed, if I stop dismissing issues and answer them all, my government size grows a lot, even if the options I choose are all in favour of freedoms.

Or leave it unaddressed for a while - it can't be in the list twice, so you'll be getting other issues as long as it sits there.
