Being a Religious country, I decided to make a Religous Issue. Tell me what you think...

Title: Citizens Cry Religious Oppression!

Description: A group of Religious Freedom Activists and Atheists staged a protest outside the Capital this morning, crying for less Religious Oppression from the government.

Validation: Not Valid for nations who do not fund Religion & Spirituality, or have chosen the Third
choice on Religious Advisor Issue.



[option] "We should have the right to worship, or not worship who we want!" Yells Anti-Christian activist @@RANDOMNAME@@ while beating a Riot Control Officer with a sign showing a red X over a Cross.
[effect] all Religious practices are allowed
[stats] Civil Rights increases some

[option] "I agree, freedom of Religion! But the Government is still involved with Religion! Just yesterday I saw a member of the Ministry PRAYING IN PUBLIC! We should immediately separate all Church and Government!" Yells Atheist @@RANDOMNAME@@ while trying to set the Cathedral across the street on fire.
[effect] Government officials are forced by Law to be Atheists
[stats] Funding for Religion & Spirituality greatly drops, Political Freedoms rise a little

[option] "I can't believe I'm hearing this!" Says Bishop @@RANDOMNAME@@ while making the sign of the cross. "Religion is a cornerstone of this country! These people are proof of what human beings are without Religion: Crazy, idiotic, rowdy, and full of Satanic ideas! Ignore these protests, and force these Atheists to learn the way of God, before it's too late to save their souls. God Bless!"
[effect] Religious Freedom Activists are forced to go to Church at Gunpoint
[stats] Civil Rights drops some

[option] "They are possessed by demons, and cannot be saved! They must be eradicated from this planet, before the evil demons within them take hold, and destroy the world!" Argues Christian Fundamentalist @@RANDOMNAME@@ before hailing the Virgin Mary dozens of times.
[effect] Anyone who questions the Bible is executed in the name of World Safety
[stats] Civil Rights drop greatly, Religion & Spirituality funding increases greatly

[option] "Geez, this is so stupid..." Sighs passerby @@RANDOMNAME@@ "I'm not an Atheist, I just think Religion's are a stupid and outdated. Why not just ban all Religion, and get all these arguments over with once and for all!?"
[effect] Church's across the country stopped all services and are now museums of "Human Stupidity"
[stats] Religion & Spirituality funding completely stops

I like it although not being a Mod my opinion does not matter), but two comments.

I'd like to recieve this, but I always choose option 3. I see no reason why it would not be valid for option 3 personally.

Also, option three on your issue, has an description which seems a bit biased to me.

Well, if you've chosen the 3rd option on the Religous Advisor Issue, it already makes Religious Oppression from the Government non-existant, right? An Issue to revoke the Atheist view of the government could be adapted, but this issue couldn't be applied to you if you chose option 3...

I know, on mine, option 3 is Christian based. But I couldn't write it to apply for every religion. So, if you're nation is Islam, and you want to choose optinion 3, you would pretend it wasn't Church, or God, or Hell, and Religious Freedom Acivists would be forced to Mosque by Gunpiont, instead of Church. But you'd just have to pretend...

I added a 5th option:

Well, if you've chosen the 3rd option on the Religous Advisor Issue, it already makes Religious Oppression from the Government non-existant, right? Those stats are way unbalanced. I'd go for option two, because it's win-win; no funding for religion means less taxes, and political freedoms actually rise. Why the heck aren't civil rights lowered or something? Wouldn't political freedoms actually drop because people would only be able to choose atheists as leaders? Option 1 looks good too; one good stat, no bad ones. No one in their right mind would choose number 3 unless they prefer being a dictatorship. Number 5 has little direct bearing on one's nation;number 4 is arguably the only reasonably written option. Sorry, just felt like critiquing something today. :lol:
