Ok guys. As you know I've editted some issues. Primarily, though, I'm a techie, not a writer, and definitely not a proofer. Thus, I'm putting my tech skills to work on the issues, so I can say that there shall shortly be some (*ahem*) interesting issues in the pool that can be found if you're lucky.

but I now have 27 puppets in the region "Political Variety, and by the time that they each two weeks they will each be the government type assigned to them in their motto.
Wouldn't that enable me to get issues aimed at only one government type which I could not get on my predominitely high-low-high puppets and my few right-wing utopias and dictatoreships otherwise?

I have over 100 puppets still around (plus about two dozen gone, only one of which I want revived at the moment), but the key thing is, I created 27 yesterday, 20 about a month ago, and eighteen (I think) 18, a few weeks ago, and other than that I usually only create them in batches of four every week or so, or even individually.
Of course most of them have never posted on the forums at all, and the highest post count of my puppets, Acrophilia, is around a dozen. I do have three which I have been meaning to create forum alter-egos with, but have not gotten around to it. Expect one of them to become rather famous (or infamous, depending on whom you ask) aroud Thanksgiving.
I don't see how having puppets doesn't help; if these issues are random, the more puppets I have, the higher the chances of getting the issue in at least one nation; if it isn't, my puppets all have their own various extremities, which I imagine is the main other requirement. Unless of course population, age or UN membership is a factor. :(

I have some pretty large puppets, so it must be UN membership that is a factor (My largest one, Nokhcheav is one day and like 4 million less than Qaaolchoura itself) I have twelve with over 500 pop (ironically I have a parody nation of an obscure player who was an especially annoying n00b when I created it, which I only keep around beacause of its size), and several that are close.

Close Encounters of the Sci-fi Kind?
Government Acts
The Issue
A recent, well-publicized UFO sighting over rural areas of Qaaolchoura has turned people's attention to the skies, and what... or who... might be up there.
The Debate
1. "This event proves one thing: there are other life-forms out there," says eccentric astronomer Prudence Jefferson, "All we have to do is find them! What is the price of a few hundred Radio Telescopes compared to the benefit of living in peace and harmony with our brethren of the stars?"
[Accept]
2. "Spies! Its gotta be spies! A few planes or satellites from our enemies or 'allies' in our region," rages General Johan Mistletoe, head of Qaaolchoura's military, "The only way to keep those snoops out of our airspace is to patrol the streets 'n skies, and shoot 'em down! Even if they are some sort of little green aliens, a couple of SAM batteries and a few flak cannons'll keep 'em from abducting our gwajhzand conure-hawks."
This is the position your government is preparing to adopt.
3. "Extraterrestrial lifeforms? Alien invaders? I don't know why we even have to listen to such idiocy!" complains prize-winning physicist Billy-Bob Christmas, "The idea of 'aliens' on another planet is highly unlikely, and even if they did exist, getting from there to here is technically impossible! I say we forget this nonsense and stop spending our tax dollars on it. Leave this sort of foolishness to the people who attend those 'trekkie' conventions."
[Accept]
The Government Position
The government has indicated its intention to follow the recommendations of Option 2.
If you wish, you may simply dismiss this issue.
Issue by: The People's Republic of Spyr

By Sal's best estimate, only about 2,000 nations met the criteria for it when he first coded the issue. 8)

OK... 9803 pages of UN Ranking times 10 nations per page divided by 2000 eligible nations equals one eligible nation per 49.015 pages.
I went through the first 50 pages of UN Rankings (whew... talk about needing a life) and it was in none of the nations' spotlights, that I could see. I chose to go through the Rankings rather than the alphabetical list for purposes of seeing only highly populated nations, but perhaps their argicultral sector has to be low to get this issue
Or perhaps, this is one egg we will never see. *sighs heavily*
