I suppose that it depends on the issue and the editor, which reminds me, could you resubmit the tape ducks one and hope that Slaggy isn't the first GM to see it again?

I wonder if my issues were rejected yet

Basically, we check for grammar and macro errors (typoes, mispellings, formatting type stuff). Sometimes an issue is pretty good as is and needs minimal content editting, sometimes it needs substantial editting.

After that, we have to turn what you guys put for the Validity thingie into a format that the server can understand, and convert what you put for the effects of each option into the variables used by the game (Let's just say there are a LOT more variables than just "Civil Rights", "Economy", and "Political Freedoms"... technically, those aren't even variables- they're the results of a ton of different variables. x_x)

As for "Has my issue been rejected?" questions, let me say this: Max and [violet] allow us access to batches of about 150 or so at a time. We're still on July/August submissions, and there are more coming in daily (and from what I've seen on this forum, a lot of you are getting quite inventive!). In short, unlike the moderator tasklist, I suspect the issue submissions are going to be in a state of permenantly backlogged. x_x

And of course, further to Rep's statement:

The dream issue to edit is one which at least has macros in it (whether or not they work is a different matter, I find it easier to edit that which is already there), has a few well-thought-out options with nice balance and minimal errors and either makes you laugh or makes you think.
The nightmare issue would be none of the above.

I'll give you one guess which issue gets edited faster.
