They came from Planet X

The Issue:
Last night lights were spotted over @@NAME@@ 's shores.
Many people belive these to be alien visitors from another planet.

The Debate:
1: "They come in peace, welcome them!" Says @@RANDOMNAME@@ on award winning radio show, Radio ET. "They might not be the same as us, but why fear them?".

2: "Shoot to kill, Men!" Commands Captain @@RANDOMNAME@@, of @@NAME@@ 's army. "How can you even think about trusting them? They are green and speak another language. Kill them all, before they kill us!".

3: "It's just light trapped in gas!" Claims Dr. @@RANDOMNAME@@, "Put more money into reasearch before we panic, let's find out what's truely up there.".

4: "Deny it all!" says a voice from the shadows "It's nothing to worry yourself about, it never happened" the voice disapeared as you turn, but later leaving the building you see an Air Force General.


The results:
1: Public often seen worshiping alien monuments and alien films are increasinly popular in cinema's.

2: Taxes are increased, and the military often fire shots into the air at night and shoot down their own planes.

3: Taxes increased and the scientific sector is improved.

4: Government becomes currupt and the truth is hidden from the public on a regular basis.

You could probably add a bit more text to it. And maybe an option about how it's actually a secret military project, but lets lead the public along as a cover up? ;)

EDIT::As in it's not quite clear what each option will result in...

So tonight Tragedy fills the air, as one Great national leader lies Dead, and another is on the run for Murder. Representatives of Infinite Loop stated that the body will lay in state till people get tired of seeing it and in the meantime we are running a lottery to see who wil replace Comrade Loop, whoever it is will have quite a pair of shoes to follow in, but the vast harem of Cat girls and other Anthropomorphinc Sexy girls will more thant make up for the stress and rigors of the Job.

I'm pretty certain it's got an effect on the "newage" variable. Although I could try to find out, if you want.
