Which Issues Boost your Economy, I've tried all the ones that are "supposed" to, Like the Mining one, the Humanitarian aid one, etc. But my Economy is stuck at "Strong" or "Very Strong" is there any suggestions on which issues should raise my Economy past this point?

I am currently in the process of bringing my economy up from Imploded (nice to know it is possible even when in the billions). The Mining issues seems to have helped for one.

What is the "Mining issue"? Is that the Diving For Dollars one? If so, how badly has your environment been messed up?

On the topic of economy, my own economy recently went down from "developing" to "weak", recently being sometime last night. My current issue is "Budget Time". I picked the last choice, about giving tax cuts and letting the people spend as they please (which, admittedly, hasn't worked for Bush, either, won't work for me). Last night's was..it doesn't come to mind at the moment, but it had nothing to do with money.

Anyone know what might have happened?

I've been trying to increase my economy but I keep getting stupid issues that don't affect the Economy, we should make more issues that affect the economy because there are so many new ones that don't now.

Yeah we need more economical issues, but please do not make those who affect the environment, make some where decisions can affect only the economy.

I have noticed that a number of issues only have options that seem to drop your economy. I am usually forced to dismiss there issues.

All you need to do is, when you get an issue think "Hmm... What would piss off Senator Robert Byrd the most?" and your economy will magically improve. Well, mine always do.

I think in the issue where the minorities in your nation demand more positive roles on television, if you pick the option to let the tv producers do what they want it will boost your economy. I picked that once and it shot my economy from strong to powerhouse

I have found that, with patience, it is sufficient to choose deregulation when "economic collapse looms" and to subsidise the automobile industry at every opportunity. Lo-ol has "Superb" civil rights, a "Frightening" economy and "Good" political freedoms (I can't do much better on political freedom since I insist on compulsory voting, no race hate rallies and no capital punishment). Those two issues are pretty much the only ones that I decide on the basis of economics.

you have to kill your political freedoms and civil rights.

Yeah, we'll see iof ity works, but my plan is to kill civil rights for the sake of economy if nec, then to twek from there. Still fragile ecomomy for my main nation.

I've not found that it's hard to keep PF, CF, and a good Econ:
All ten of my nations are at Powerhouse or better, including a Civil Rights Lovefest, because I always try to build the economy without screwing anything else over: Budgets always increase the military (It worked for Reagan a lot more than his tax cuts), and let Microsoft live, those two seem to help. Any time you increase education or health care, too: most of these nations have smart people and solid health care systems.

False. Frigben and Artmilia(my main puppet)both have Frightening economies, but civil rights and political freedoms ranging from Good to Superb. Frigben used to be a Civil Rights Lovefest even(which made me chuckle, because my nation's description said my people were suspicious of big business even though my economy was Frightening).

Democratic Senator. Democrat is a noun. Democratic is an adjective.

I'm a Byrd supporter and my economy is "Good."

What we really need are more political issues. Crrently all of the political issues that I have seen are biased so that left-wing nations will lower political freedoms, and right-wing nations will raise them.

And yes I know.

When I finish the war tree, I have some political issues that I mean to write.
