What about one dealing with non-humans?
Seems to be plenty of nations with non-humans. So why not an issue dealing with public sentiment about it?

This seems inappropriate as there are many more nations which don't have non-humans and actively ignore those with such populations. To them it is an issue they can only have the chance to dismiss, unless they have a choice such as:
4.) "What's that the people are saying? Elves and goblins at the borders? Such nonsense - this is why we need to spend more on education and ban all this subversive fantasy literature stuff. It feeds kids with over-active imaginations and blinds them to wonders of a good scientific background. We need more enlightenment and less superstition," says Eugene Threadmodule educational administrator.

well as Nekomimi are a large Minority in Infinite Loop
(Infinite Loop is made up of
Humans approx 58%
Nekomimi approx 35%
The Race (a lizard race form space) approx 7%)
I have been considering a issue about nekomimi.
While it would be nice, I think issues should be kept strictly "RL" based (as opposed to RP based). Otherwise we'll soon have issues regarding spacewanking and such.

So, issues could involved RL animals. Not sure what that would be... dogs go on strike, refuse to fetch or roll over? :)
