Ledgersia, I've no objection, but I need you to either give me a complete list of posts you want split off, or explain to me why you want them split so that I can work out what other posts to include.
I've read through the thread, and I can see you and Parkus have been discussing the black market and, to an extent, black markets in general. But that seems to me to be fairly germane to the topic -- eg, a run on ammunition may lead to a black market, black markets have an effect on the economy, the OP referred to the run helping the economy. It doesn't seem to me merely a two-way discussion, as Wilgrove is putting in his two cents' worth.
If you want to have a separate theoretical discussion about black markets in general, what they do to economies, can/should governments factor them in when making economic decisions -- that sort of more general thing -- I don't see why you shouldn't make a separate thread and have at it.
