Persistant, belligerant threadjacking.

I’m giving you the background, which began with TAI, but TAI actually cut it out. It’s No True Scotsman who has persisted.

Once I ascertained that TAI’s focus was purely on the issue of public versus private healthcare, and not on the specific issue of gender reassignment surgery, I hinted that the off topic issue shouldn’t be pursued.

There was a bit of back and forth:

http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14751208&postcount=134

No True Scotsman decided to make an issue out of it, and the two talked about it for a bit:

TAI dropped it after I posted this:

Then nts, turning it into a hijack about hijacking:

Sure, if the Moderators split this topic off (if it got that far along) then my comment would have been carried along with TAI's hijack. Then again, of course, moderation probably wouldn't split the topics - since TAI was led into that hijack by your own question. (Post #125).

Since I haven't seen TAI being moderated, or split off, I can assume this is all sound and fury. No one is 'getting slapped'. No one is 'getting free passes'.

Etc, etc, etc.

No. The issue is NOT whether we should have private or public healthcare. Going on and on about how discussing this a page earlier was actually relevant is not the topic either. MODS ONLY PLEASE.

I've deleted the posts about the threadjack.

I've deleted some of the posts about the American health system, but I think that by the time No True Scotsman got to this post (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14751497&postcount=153) he had connected the private/public debate to the Alberta de-lists debate. Sdaeriji then runs with the ball, on topic.

I have not deleted the posts about whether short posts are intellectually lazy (which to an extent started the threadjack), because I'm intellectually lazy/because my lunchtime's over.
