Not sure me

Not sure if you'v seen but I'm in a bit of a thing with a nation in the WA on amendments and why we can't have them. My responses weren't enough and before the rest of the WA leans in to him I figure a MOD could explain the situation... and or correct me if I'm wrong.

It's the Proposal:Private Security on Ships Act thread. Sorry.

Now he's moved the discussion to a different thread...

Tried going that route... didn't quite work...

Sorry... Thanks Kenny

Personally my best practice is small and simple standalone resolutions that focus one aspect at a time so they are not at risk of the amendment debates. For example my current proposal on emigration is independent side of the immigration so to reduce complexity.

I agree with you completely. He's new and I remember having a similar discussion with some old timers when I started a few years ago re: amendments. He's just persistent and at one point wanted a MOD to tell him he was wrong.

So... who am I supposed to be telling this to?

EDIT - so, it looks like Absolvability is who I need to talk to. No, don't anyone rush to give me the name.

EDIT #2 - Addressed.

Can I recommend a course of nourishing RU486 for that thread? It's illiterate sprawl about the US Constitution, which doesn't belong in the WA forum, insofar as it belongs anywhere at all.

No, I'm wrong, it's actually chock full of edifying and productive content (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14750943&postcount=41).

The posts from that irrelevant exchange have been deleted, the players warned to cut it out and the thread, having exhausted both my patience and the reason for its existence, has been locked.

EDIT: This post (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14751766&postcount=48) from the "Proposal:Private Security on Ships Act" thread is also relevant.

Thanks. Sorry I got drug into that... I'm usually more tolerant of that kind of stuff.
