I think it's more a recruitment thread. The original poster may repost an amended first post in Gameplay, but save the subsequent details for TGing to applicants or for posting in an RP-forum thread.

The amendments it needs are:

a change of name so that no player could possibly make the mistake of thinking that the organisation is officially endorsed, approved or supported.

a link to the thread or offsite in which the remainder of the RP will take place. It is apparently intended to be an extended RP and should therefore go in one of the RP forums, II or NS.

To clarify: the organisation was to be called "The WA Chief Electoral Office". It would attempt to collect details of political parties or coalitions operating in the WA.

This is a fair description of what actual Electoral Offices do in many RW countries.

However, in real life these are (preferably) independent organisations with a legal status recognised by the government.

But in NS, the game is the "government", and the government does not recognise this RPd body. Players in the WA are not required by the game to belong to a political party, to take any party-political stance or to give any details of their nations' political organisations.

Giving the organisation the name "The WA Chief Electoral Office" implies for it an official status that other groups of WA players certainly do not have (or claim) for their offsite or RPd activities.

That said, it is reasonable for WA players to wish to advertise their organisations and they are, undeniably, specialist interest groups more likely to attract members if advertised in the WA forum. Some of the then-extant organisations are listed in HotRodia's World Assembly Reference Guide post WA Chat and Discussion (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11281160&postcount=7).

Players who would like their WA-related groups included in an updated version of that post should list their links in this thread (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=14739411#post14739411).
