With the term "dhimmi" being used in the context of "Jihadi ass-kisser".

It seems to my (obviously important but non-mod) opinion that NM is being rather jokey here.
He's been in a jovial mood for the past few days (EDIT: see here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=14684625#post14684625)); I thought you and he were jesting over your obvious differences.

I think that's a lot to read into the term, Gauthier. I'm not very well-read on the subject, so I'm likely to miss any connotations it might have, but from the context of my deep five-minute research on Google, it doesn't look as if what you're seeing in it is the first meaning that would spring to mind. There's a bit of a gap between "non-Muslim in a Muslim country" and "jihadi ass-kisser".
Even if that is the connotation is among the cognoscenti, given NSG's tendency to happily accuse each other of unlikely political affiliations, it could still be meant jokingly.
OT, yes. Drive-by, yes. Those, he should stop.

Seems NM is jesting. The post doesn't appear to be malicious in this case, given what NM is replying to.
