Legality of survey distribution

I am part of a small but diverse group of NS players who are seeking to gather empirical data on the concerns and social divisions described in this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=586807) thread, among others. We've posted a link to our unofficial survey here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=587999), but the Gameplay forum is a little-used backwater and as some mods have pointed out, the usefulness of our information-gathering is limited if only some demographics are reached.

We are genuinely interested in reaching a truly representative sampling of NS players to gather data that is as accurate as possible. To this end, we wish to repost our survey in the other Jolt subforums, where it can be used by people who might normally not pay attention to the Gameplay forum. Is this allowable?

I don't come bearing a ruling, but until there is a ruling, I might suggest that a fairly effective way to draw more players to participate would be to post actively and on-topic in certain forums while displaying the link proudly in your signatures. Naturally, those signatures would need to follow the usual rules, but it might help to spread the word.
