Could this count as flame baiting?

The final judgement is, of course, up to mod discretion, but I'm really not sure how, on a debate board, "you missed my point...again" is particularly flaming or flame baiting. In fact, in a place where debating, arguing, and discussing is the raison d'etre, one would think "you miss my point" is pretty par for the course.

If this qualifies as flame baiting, I'm not sure what's next. Outright flaming posters with comments like "you're wrong" and "I disagree"?

I wasn't trying to insult you. I'm the same quite often, when a load of people are piling into me, I normally just end up arguing with them for the sake of arguing, even if my argument is not consistent with my original position.

Fair enough.

Fair enough.

So, all is now sweetness and light in the ivied halls of NSG? You and Neo Art, academic gowns ballooning slightly as you pace, have returned to scholarly peripatetic debate on whether geeks are geeks when nobody's observing their geekiness, whether that which appears is that which is, and other such esoterica?

You better have, Wilgrove, because NO WAY am I going to consider the posts you've linked as serious candidates for flaming, trolling or any other heinous crimes.

Any more of this, and I'll insist you pay for Neo's Devonshire teas at the Refectory for a whole week. And that's Earl Grey tea, mind.

Hot?

Not suggesting anything, mind... just had to be said.
