A (possibly solved) problem.

Wotcha.
Haven't logged on in a few days, but 4 days ago I received a TG from Daistallia:
Hi
I woke up to find I've been IP banned without warning. Have the admins said anything?
I can't see any related thread or reason why. Could some kind mod lend a hand, please?
Apologies if this has already been dealt with.

Ah. We've been dealing with this as best we can.
If Daistallia hadn't been informed by a game mod yet, she will be shortly. She can be rest assured that her conduct on NSG was not the issue. It was an issue with OMAC if I'm not mistaken.
We've been working to get her back in. And it was successful to the point where we got OMAC to rescind the IP ban.
One of the game mods should be in contact with her to let her know she's allowed back with a new nation.

LOL - Dais a he, not a she. ;)
And he would like to thank all the NS mods and admis for their support and hard work on his behalf!!!!
Are we allowed to ask what this whole mess was about? I have some suspicions, but I don't want to go slandering people if they're wrong.

Wow, thats, what, two nations this has happened to now?

We're still trying to figure out what went wrong. I can tell you this, if it was a nation that violated NS's rules, it would be very apparent.
OMAC? I thought we were going away from OMAC?

JuNii, this (http://www.nationstates.net/page=news/2009/02/25/index.html#rebirth=) news item from Max is the latest he's posted. As far as I can see, it just says that NS1 and NS2 are officially two entities and Max wants to concentrate on NS1.
Re Daistallia, Kryo's given you the most important news: that Daistallia's IP ban has been rescinded. I've just sent an email advising him of that fact. (EDIT: TG, actually; email bounced.)
UvV, no point in picking at scabs. Sorry about the weasel words, but this is all I'll be saying on the subject:
A miscommunication occurred. Representations were made. Discussions were held. A compromise was reached.
The essence of a compromise is that none of the parties gets everything they want but all of them get some of what they want.
