Addressed (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14608921&postcount=88).

In this particular case you're the innocent party, but you would be wise to put Heikoku on ignore before the mutual ill-feeling leads to both of you being banned. There is a pattern of trolling/flaming which you have both established and for which you're both blameworthy.

BTW, I've closed that thread owing to its descent into spam. Not that it had very far to descend.

Just so I know...

Is this defined as innocent:

Many of his enemies on this board never had a sense of decency to begin with.

One Hotwife was worth ten of his enemies.

I'm looking forward to his next reincarnation.

Surely NM knows many people here dislike DK. Is that not baiting as well?

(Also, just so I know, since DK is not here, officially, can we speak ill of him?)

His remark is within the rules; yours isn't. Hypothetical:

Q: Many people here dislike GWB. Poster A, knowing this, expresses support for him. Is that baiting or trolling?

A: It depends on how the support is expressed.

Same principle.

As for whether you can speak ill of another poster in their official absence, I am wavering between "inadvisable" and "bloody stupid".

Even if there's some justification for the ill-speaking, as in the case of someone who's been declared DoS, there's still a risk of being slapped for gloating. If the poster is free to come back, then you're dancing in a minefield.
