Who do I report evil messages to my nation to? I don't want to post it publically.

Use the Getting Help feature (http://www.nationstates.net/page=help).

Include the name of the nation sending you the abusive private message and (this is important) LEAVE THE MESSAGE IN YOUR INBOX. Moderators can then look at it and determine what action to take.

Once they've notified you that they've taken whatever action they need to, THEN you can delete the message, but not before then.

Does it matter if it's from a nation NOT linked to an email address? It is my nation, but not this one, a different one.

I don't think you need an e-mail address for moderators to see the contents of your telegram inbox, no. Your e-mail address is only required for membership of the World Assembly and these forums, so far as I know.

make sure that you are clear about that with your GHR. Mods should be able to see it either case.

I didn't say which in the report, though it was a telegram, but either way the message is gone now (and I didn't delete it) so it must be sorted I guess.

Just to make a point: putting your email address on a nation has no downside. None.

Having an email address is the only way to recover a lost password. No matter how much you beg or plead, we can't / won't provide a password reset on a nation without an email address.

We don't collect them. You'll never be spammed from them. You can use the same address on multiple nations. It won't impact WA membership unless you try to join more than one nation, which you shouldn't be doing anyway.

I don't know why there's so much resistance to this idea. Please go to the settings page in all your puppets and ADD ONE, dammit. It'll save you hassle down the road when you lose your password ... and you will, eventually.
