I'm not a Mod (obviously), but I think the Mods will recognize a little detail called context. Neo Art was responding humorously to a post that was itself funny. No insult was intended or could reasonably be inferred.

EDIT: It seems you two are both trying to use Moderation as a weapon to silence what you find infuriating in the other. Even though your complaints may have merit, they also have an agenda. Have you considered using Ignore?

Not a mod

I concur with Cat Tribe, as is par for the course. It's something different when we're in a purely humorous thread and someone takes a shot across the bow. The person then responds in kind, and everyone can easily tell it's not serious. Usually those insults are so outrageous that it can be easily inferred that the poster isn't serious.

I agree with Cat-Tribe. You both would be better off putting each other on Ignore.

I can only endorse the remarks of the previous posters. Hotwife, your reporting this was as big a stretch as Neo Art reporting your "Fannie Mae" post.

Since I was on the receiving end of the ostensibly insulting appelate, I recognize that mods have to weigh each situation individually, and the fact that a post may have been friendly ribbing, other readers may not be aware of the congenial history between posters. In respect for this, I have refrained from calling Neo Art the pus pink discharge of a syphlitic goat.

That said, Neo Art only referred to me as a whore because I have recently asked him to review some personal documents of mine, as a favor. This includes my law suit against the State of Nevada for their discriminatory policy of only allowing legal prostitution in those counties with under 400,000 population, and their even more egregiously discriminatory policy of requiring prostitutes to submit a cervical sample for disease control.

He's also helping me craft my complaint regarding the injuries I received at the hands of the Filipino "doctor" who I enlisted to help me produce a cervical sample. Since it was done in the back of a van, we're treating it as an auto insurance claim, but apparently, All State aren't the "good hands" people when its their customer's hands elbow deep in my ass.

What was I...oh, yeah, so anyway, that's why he called me a whore, and I'm cool with it.
