Attacking the poster, not the post = flame, right?

Fass is entitled to be his abrasive self, but I believe this crosses the line (emphasis added):

Nor can you condemn it, but I don't see you trying to argue that for some reason. Perhaps it's due to your haemorrhaging myocardium. I can be that magnanimous to phrase it so... generously.

Edit: Having reacted in a knee-jerk manner, I am embarrassed to realize that Fass called me a "bleeding heart." I was thinking it was a brain reference. :$:$:$

The merits of my complaint aside, IMHO the thread is getting a bit heated and could use a Mod cool-down.

For future reference, and general education, "cerebral" would be the word to use to refer to the brain. As in "cerebrum". Meaning simply "brain". I could even use "telencephalic", but the latter screams "limited to a guild".

Thank you both. I believe I have dealt with (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14544404&postcount=99) the procedural matter, so perhaps you will be so kind as to join me in the study for afternoon tea?

(This 'politeness' thing could catch on. ;))

This is my favourite Moderation thread EVAH.

The nice detail is, being a Linguistics graduate, I KNOW the roots of the "simpler" medical terms. :p
