I'm being poked by someone who seems to have a superiority complex of some sort, and trouble answering a legitimate question without unctuous condescension, clearly designed to get a rise out of me. I don't know what I did to deserve such nonsense, and I don't think it's a case of thin skin. I've been here too long for that. This came out of nowhere, and I'd like it addressed, please, by mods only.

I was less perturbed by the nature of the abuse than the out-of-nowhere, who-pissed-in-your-Wheaties aspect of it. That said, I thought the condescension type of verbal chicanery was no excuse to avoid being called flamebait.

Regardless. I'll let it go. If it happens again, however, I shall be more strident. I've no history with him, and it was utterly belligerent.
