Dude, what's up? I'm trying to figure out what to bring to a buddy's outing to a sporting clays range, not debating unfair treatment that is alleged on this forum.

I suggest you look it up yourself. It's publicly available in the One Stop Rules Shop, and last I checked, players don't give orders to moderation, nor do they get to flamebait.

It's all an act designed to insinuate himself into the center of attention. Everything he says exists solely for the purpose of attracting attention to himself. I should know, I can do it too.

I suggest you just do what your told. You're supposed to be a moderator. So moderate me an email adress i can send my complaint about you to. If i find out that the people that were insulting me earlier didn't get infractions i'll also be complaining about the infraction you just gave me.


I'd post this in the mod forum but you'd probably just lock that thread as well.

Do not order the mods around; don't threaten us. We are not anyone's slave. All the mods are volunteers and to demand arrogantly that we do something is audacious. That and we don't take well to threats.

Each player is dealt with independent of the actions of others. Even if two players are involved in the same incident, each player is treated as an individual. Just because one player gets a warning does not mean that both do.

If your complaint is legitimate, the thread is only locked after the issue has been resolved. If it's not, it's locked to prevent clutter in moderation.

With humility, I believe that LG's and GF's comments were originally posts in my "what chips" thread in General. Looking over, I think the posts dealing with the potential threadjack were moved by another mod, though I am not 100% sure.

Agreed. Thank you for the diligence, and if it means anything, you have my sympathies in this matter.

Perhaps it's just me, but I have to mention I've noticed what looked like very thin, subtle, professional baiting.

Usually, someone posting a thread about their achievement in a xbox game on a forum that's not about that, either doesn't know what the reaction will be, which is hard to expect from such an experienced netizen as Mr.Seleznyov, or knows and intends to produce such a reaction. While that doesn't speak much in itself, there's this trick with first almost admitting it's pointless, but proceeding to increasingly defend the importance of the achievement, however in such a way that it encourages further discussion, is interesting. And then shifting to mention involvement with the Dramatica culture, which further eliminates the chances one wouldn't know the results.

He's good - there's nothing he did wrong, and each single post maintains strong plausible deniability. Everything perfectly within the rules. But I think it would be unnecessary to take actions against other posters either, since, as seems to me, many were thinly manipulated. Not strongly, but just that bit that is enough.

Yeah, to be fair, Toomey and others probably weren't helping, but the Ard was merciful about it.
