I don't know what exactly you can do about this, but this guy on the Nationstates forum creates a new thread on an almost daily basis to start supposed new competitions. If he was actually going to do one of these competitions, it'd be different, but he has not made any effort to carry out any of them, other then a couple where he signs up his puppet nations.

The regulars of the Nationstates forum have tried to get this guy under control, but he is very stubborn, so perhaps he needs to here it from the moderators.

He has posted under the following nation names: Galaxianda, The Vepsiandi Isles, Questille, Sapphiriandia, Governmentation, Los Plasmos and perhaps more.

Since the beginning of 2009, he has attempted to start all of these "competitions" but never follows through on anything. This is getting tiresome as its really just becoming nothing but spam. Like I said I don't know what exactly can be done, perhaps tell him, pick one and see it through to the end otherwise stop, or something to that effect:

It looks like, smells like and will be treated like spam. A review of the threads leads me to believe he intends to not follow through and is only intending to spam. All the threads in question have been locked and each thread has a spam warning attached to it. It should send a strong message. We should hope he'll get the message at that point.

Kryozerkia, would you or another mod be able to confirm whether or not the nations mentioned by Newmanistan are controlled by the same person (or operating from the same computer)?

If so he's in breach of the rules of the NS World Cup:

Specifically, if both Questille and Los Plamos are controlled by the same player, only one of them can enter the tournament.

I acknowledge that the rules of the WC have little to no bearing on permissable NS posting behaviour - I'm not asking for sanction here on your part, merely confirmation of the nations' status so I know whether they can both participate or not.


However, note that in the following post in a now-locked thread, Questille actively denies that he and Galaxianda are the same person, conceding only that he knows Galaxianda's account information (if that's what's meant by the comment on knowing his e-mail):

I don't want to kick a nation out of the World Cup unless I can point blank prove they're all the same person.

Puppet multying in threads is not against the rules, although it certainly is bad form and cheating. Puppet multying in the game is. You may draw your own conclusions on the current situation by investigation of publicly available records.

Remember, if you're the one overseeing the RP, it's your choice if you allow someone to stay in. If you suspect that they are breaking the rules, you can kick them if you want.

Actually, there's a bit of a precedent for players asking for puppet checks. I once asked GMC for one on Xeraph when I became suspicious about his behaviour in a thread, and he did it.

You know, I've been thinking this over...

Questille, Los Plasmos, Sapphiriandia, Euro Federations, Archadmin, Archmod and Galaxianda are all run by the same person.
