fair enough, I sorta consider it to be adding to the initial idea, but the thread has been locked, so let the mods do as they will.

Issued Ferrous Oxide a 3-day ban for the flaming. One post would have granted him a warning, multiple shows he needs a time out.
As for KoL, just keep a lid on it. One of your comments was borderline. Next time I see one, I won't be so forgiving.
The thread is locked for the good of the forum so the fire doesn't spread.
Any other mod is welcome to change this and/or add to it.

Just out of curiosity, and I don't think it warrants its own thread, but when the OP designates a thread "mods only", is it acceptable for others to post related evidence, as happened in this thread?

It's a judgment call. It's usually OK.
"Mods Only" always allows the accused to respond, so it seems reasonable to allow additional evidence from another thread, or picking out posts from a really long thread. I usually read 1-20 posts before and after the reported post to get a flavor of the context, so reporting a bunch of give-and-take posts would be wasted on me. Other mods may do things differently.
As for the people who just routinely spam in Moderation, please stop. Yes, DaWoad, I'm talking about you here. There are others too.
