Hello, please lock my commune with nature thread.
Further, I at this time disclose that I suffer from a severe mental condition known as the "Pure Obsessional" variant of OCD.
My therapist has indicated to me that participation on the debate board here maybe exacerbating my condition. The compulsive nature of my condition makes it difficult to cease on my own.
I realize that the mods are under no requirement to comply and I in no way assert that is your responsibility, but I would ask that as reasonable accomodation for my disorder, you implement an ISP ban and a Dead on Sight order for me.
I suppose with my penchant for satire, I could be kidding, but it might be best to be safe. Thank you.

Thread closed -- not on "OP ownership" basis, which doesn't exist in General, but on "going nowhere in ever-decreasing circles" basis.
As for the rest, take two painkillers and see your doctor if symptoms persist.
Or a bottle of whiskey.;)

Sorry to hear this. apologies for being part of the exacerbating your condition.

Wow. I'm glad training exercises take me away from NS, now.

I request that you don't fulfill the last portion of his request, for an IP ban. He doesn't deserve it, and I think he may regret it later.
Perhaps I speak out of turn, but that's how I feel.

We're not going to IP ban him. We're neither licensed shrinks nor cops, and it's not our job to handle his internet addiction.
Besides, someone else could be using his account to make this point. It wouldn't be the first time a 'friend' or 'brother' tried to sabotage a player.

Players who want to make a clean break off NS either have to be determined not to check their nations for 28 days (or 60 if they put their nations in Vacation Mode) or change their passwords to something completely unrecognisable. I agree with the reasons put forth: Who wants to accidentally delete a nation or have someone hack into an account and delete your nation?
Besides, what if you change your mind 15 days later and you've self-deleted your nation or the mods IP banned you? Then you can't get your nation back. And who wants THAT?!
Baldwin for Christ, if you have some kind of OCD, you really need to seek help that no one here is licensed to provide. Unless, of course, a licensed psychologist happens to be lurking around Jolt somewhere and I don't know about it ... anyway, I hope you can get that kind of help.

If you'll note the 3rd line of my OP here, I mentioned "my therapist".
This person is a clinical psychologist, who collaborates with a team of psychiatrists to manage my treatment. I "sought help" a while ago, as evinced by mentioning that I have a therapist.
Unless, of course, a licensed psychologist happens to be lurking around Jolt somewhere and I don't know about it ... anyway, I hope you can get that kind of help.
Nothing in my post indicates I was attempting to professional help here. My therapist said that it was making my condition worse, and the nature of my condition makes it difficult to cease on my own.
Having been advised of my mental state, the moderators have made a decision that I'll abide by.
As for your post, again, please have a look at the 3rd line of my original post. I have already sought help, and that was fairly clear.
