The top message on my profile (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/member.php?u=1262812&tab=visitor_messaging) is a recruitment message. I would like to suggest that this kind of recruiting be made illegal, if it is not already so. It is unwanted spam. I know you probably have no technical means of enforcing such, but it'd be nice if it could be added to the OSRS.

I strongly doubt I am the first person to have received, and been annoyed at, such spam, so if there is already a ruling in place, I apologise for having missed it.

It already is illegal, I believe.

It's likely because it may not have been a problem before.

Sending unsolicited recruitment Personal Messages to nations outside of game-created regions is not permitted.

I think it needs comment from other mods/admins in case there's a problem in creating a direct link between gameplay and forum play.

Saying "don't PM anyone but folk in the feeders" may be read by some as "you're now allowed to inundate folk in the feeders with PMs".

Hmm, well, in my view PMing even members of feeder regions should be illegal. If you can send them a TG, there is simply no need to send them a PM as well.

Ard, I was thinking we could amendment it to say that "unsolicited region advertising is not permitted on forum accounts" or something similar.

I've also deleted the message from Cobdenia's account. I'll send Ninijastic another warning...
