Not to step on a new Mod's toes or anything, but Kryo could you (or another Mod) please review the ruling.

The sentence was clearly in reference to the previous posts, and recognised by such here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14362181&postcount=2) and here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14362250&postcount=9).

As it being quotation from a film (a comedy lambasting the decline in intellectualism, and fitting with the OP), whose reference was understood by other posters, and given my clean record, I feel it's a little rash.

Thanks.

NOT A MOD

for those who didn't watch the movie (like me,) it would've helped if you stated your source. with either the quote tags or something. I didn't know it was a quote and thought it was a referring to the OP.

I took action the way I did because it didn't look like a quote at all. I'll change it, but just note for the future, if you're quoting, and this should apply to all, try and make it apparent.

I guess this goes part and parcel of the earlier debate that to be sure people think something is satire, tags may have to be used. :( IF it was from a more mainstream film, people would not have had an issue with it I guess.

Fair enough, noted. Thanks for the quick response. :$
