I dated a self-described "arch-conservative." He and I are still good friends. We have so far in political discussion found literally 0 issues on which we even come close to agreeing. He was, however, neither a blithering idiot nor a terrible bigot, and he didn't prance around claiming he would never stoop so low as to date a nasty, dirty, America-hating liberal.
So Poliwanacraca's ex-boyfriend was not a blithering idiot or a terrible bigot. Am I missing something?

I'll have to agree with Kat on this one, and take it a step further and say it is questionable at best. One would have to squint hard and disregard the context of the whole thread. Of course, another mod is free to overrule my opinion.
In the mean time, I'm going to lock the thread and let someone else review it. If another mod wants to reopen, go ahead.
