I thought this poster was banned

I thought Kermit the Dog was banned after their first post?
They seem to be back and determined to offend
http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14249287&postcount=61
there are more posts after this one that seem designed to flamebait
more:
If your finances are not in difficulty, good for you. But spending money on a cat cremation is decadance beyond comprehension when people are starving, don't you think? Perhaps a burial in your garden and a donation to an animal charity would be less selfish. But some people hang onto their selfcentred mourning in a hope that they may be thought of as special.
As for how you are feeling, I was talking semantics, and how you might articulate yourself better. But then again, you are cremating a fucking cat! Maybe you feel more comfortable talking bollocks.
Fuck starving children (actually no, their pointy hips can dig in, and in Africa you would probably get AIDS). My internet conection is used for work as well as toying with fools. Cremating a cat is disposable income lunacy. You cannot compare the two. You simpleton.
'obnoxious attention seekers'? What other kind of person would unload their grief at the loss of a fucking cat onto a international website. Cats are cats. Domestic vermin that some shallow people attribute personalities to because they lack one themselves. An f-ing cat. I have been to too many funerals this year to worry about some bint who lost a moggy. The pathetic outpouring of sympathy for a shitting hairball makes me sick. Try watching a friend waste away from cancer (stomach tumors x2, bone cancer, and oesophagal tumors), driving 500 miles to see them hours before they die. Or perhaps another good friend lose their mind and body to MS before choking to death.
It is the frivolity of human emotions wasted on such trivialities that disturbs me.
I also like being an asshole in the eyes of those I dislike, and belittling their feelings because I have so few of my own. I couldn't care less about most things but know others do, so I prey.
I was about to report the "toying with fools" comment (2nd quote from the top in Neo Art's post). Seems like an admission of trolling to me.
More adding fuel to the fire (different thread though):
As for my posting history. I care for what you think about as much as a flea considers the moral implications of raping a Rhino.

Suspended, not banned. Freedom of speech is not banned is it?
There is no freedom of speech here. Everyone knows that. Well. Almost. [/seriouslyI'mnotkidding]

Here's another one of Kermit the Dogs's works of art:

His total disregard for Cabra West's feelings upon losing her cat is evident.

Suspended, not banned. Freedom of speech is not banned is it? I was merely stating my opinion on what should be a blog, not a thread.
I'm not a mod, but if you look at Max's comments about these fora, you'd see he describes this as his own little Father Knows Best State.
I think if you check legal precedents in the U.S., you'll see that administrators of online fora have every right to impose rules they see fit on said fora. If Max said he didn't want political or religious discussions AT ALL, he'd have every right to decree that.

You should try laughing at other's misery sometime.
seriously, why is he still able to post?
Funny, I headed over here to check the same thing.
This post by Katganistan (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14216173&postcount=6) gave me the warm fuzzy feeling he'd been banned, although I was wondering yesterday already that it appeared to have no effect.
But then again, that's a few days old already. I support the motion to consider re-banning him, though.
'You have been banned from the forums. Date ban will be lifted 23/11/2008'. Temporary ban. Or are you second guessing the wisdom of the MODS now?
I think that not perma-banning a poster on their first offense isn't a matter of wisdom (or lack thereof), but of following site protocol regarding moderation. I've full faith in our moderation team, and in that their treatment of you will match your behavior appropriately.
Rambhutan, I suggest slapping a "MODS ONLY" onto the OP to avoid this turning into a flame fest.
A bit that indicates that Kermit didn't learn his lesson...

From anyone else I'd say that it was harmless, but considering his history, I'd say malicious...

Yep. And he is again.
We don't need professional flamers and trolls, kthnxbai.
A bit that indicates that Kermit didn't learn his lesson...
Actually, I think that this bit is even more directly relevant to considerations about how to deal with them as far as moderation goes
Water off a duck's back. Fuck warnings. Fuck them right in the ear.
Yep. And he is again.
Great. Thanks for the quick job.

Thanks I will next time, I think I also need to make the title a bit clearer. My first time reporting anyone.

Speaking of which...
Thank God for that. We don't need that type of moron on here! Well done MOD team.:)
Just to quickly ask the 'MOD team', can we have a ruling on whether these cross the line?
This (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=14254778#post14254778), this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=14254805#post14254805), and finally this. (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=14254931#post14254931)
"but then again finding you are still spending any time on here with your last days must be testament to your wasted, wasted life." is particularly noteworthy, I feel.
None of it is directly flaming, but there definitely seems to be intent to cause offense or provoke flaming.

That bolded bit was in response to me (third of the links above), and I was going to ignore it.
For the record, I was more amused than offended - I wasn't going to waste any time responding to something so pathetic.
Besides, I'm slightly surprised that I didn't get a gentle slap on the wrist myself for what was an uncharacteristically forthright reply on my part involving a sexual act and Jeremy Clarkson. I was just going to let it pass.
But it seems it wasn't an isolated incident, so I have no doubt that the mods acted correctly in deleting all of the posts involved.
Especially given the porn links.
And 'El Felcho' is arguably an inappropriate name anyway.
There are days I don't envy the mods their job.
Now, I'm no mod, so I have no clue whether my suspicions are correct, but could it be that he's back (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/search.php?searchid=1126673)? Similar offensive posting style, nation founded today...

I know. You'll get an IP block soon enough though, and you won't be able to rejoin. Just keep flaming in moderation and you'll get there all the sooner.
