A little over the top. A slap on the wrist might be needed.

Its not like thats the only flaming or flamebaiting post in that thread man...

True enough. For example, there is a poster who contributed nothing to the thread and rather showed up only to insult people. Is that what you're referencing, KoL?

If there is an issue in the thread, you should post the relavant posts.

Perhaps I was refering to a poster who cant seem to have a civil discussion with someone like an adult, but instead focuses on berating and insulting the opposition?

Or, maybe I was just refering to the cluster fuck that said thread has become and not singling anyone out, persecution complexes and borderline delusions of importance aside.

Do you have relevant links or not? I'm confused as to what exactly you hope to gain here.

I dont hope to gain anything. Just mentioning that by this point just warning one person in that thread would be absurd.

What you hope to gain here? Or are you just trolling me?

Anyway, Im taking my disdain for the both of you out of moderation now. I dont know why you guys even bothered posting.

If you feel others should be warned you should post links to the offenses. The mods don't really have time to try to figure out what you are referring to vaguely.

My point is I think at this time no one should be warned, a general WATCH IT should be issued and thats that.

He is right. I guess thats why my thread in Moderation was ignored, too vague. The thread has degenerated, last I checked, into constant flamey goodness, with a thin layer of civility preventing total chaos.

Are you Telros? Because if you are, your thread wasn't ignored. It was pointed out by a mod in another mod thread on the same thread, that mods were already combing through it, likely as a result of your thread. Mods don't always tell us they've acted on a complaint, but it doesn't mean they haven't.

If you're not Telros, ignore me. I was just guessing since there are no mod threads started by you.

I didn't say it was the only potential problem. I pointed out that that particular post was over the top. In general the thread is a little incendiary, but stable.

If there's something specific going on, pop in a link.

Collectively, grow up. Individually, wait for the axe to fall. If any of us think it's worth the effort. Thread closed. May reopen if said "any of us" feels there's more actual discussion possible.

EDIT: Orright, unclosed -- I mean, opened. I missed the page where the reasonable discussion had resumed.

Now, back to check out the flamey bits ... *sharpens axe*

That was me, but on another account making a quick note. My apologies for the confusion. I thought it was ignored as it was very vague, no posts pointed out, just the thread. So when no one replied, I thought it had been been ignored. But in that thread, they have acted. I was just confused as to the no response. But thanks for the explanation. ^^

It wasn't ignored. Telros. You gave enough info to find the thread. I was checking through it, and the Bush thread, and had found, among other things, KoL's (now famous) post, when RL events intervened.

As I hadn't finished checking, and as some things were more urgent, I just didn't get back to you. A thread link is fine when you just want mods to check it out. Links help if there are posts of particular concern, because time and many pages may have elapsed before anyone is available to deal with it.
