I'm not seeing that happening yet. Should it start up, perhaps then.

BTW, re gloating: people seem to be worried that simply saying "I'm happy because my guy won" is gloating. It ain't.
Saying "I'm happy you're unhappy because my guy won" is.

What about "Wooooooohooooo!"? That's the problem with such a vaguely worded rule, we can't read mod minds and know what we'll be slapped for.

I promise not to slap anyone who just says "Wooohooo!", but my tolerance will be stretched if you choose to say "Woot!" :D
Look, it's not so much the content as the intent. Sure, we can't judge intent. But we can see if a post is maliciously phrased and can judge whether it's likely to cause flaming in response. There are rules about trolling or flamebait. That's what makes it illegal, and that's why it will be slapped.
We could have just left the subject alone and held people to the usual NS standards. The sticky about gloating was put up to alert people so they'd be extra careful.
It's no new rule, it's just like the cops advertising that they're putting on extra units during a holiday weekend. Mods Targetting Gloating In This Area, 'kay?
