Please excuse the somewhat premature post sniping here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=571212). In my defense it IS November 4th and IS election day (and, in fact, the polls just opened in parts of New Hampshire!)

But my point in reporting myself is to ensure this is kosher, and that there wasn't a modly plan to create an election thread (though feel free to sticky this one should you wish) and to ask, that if there was such plan, and my thread is to not be it, could it please be locked rather than deleted? I spent some time writing it and would like to copy/paste it into whatever thread does get crowned the official NSG presidential election thread, should it not be mine own.

Thanks, I remember in 2004 and 2006 there was a general ALL TALK GO HERE! thread made by mods and stickied, so I was hoping to not incur any wrath by prematurely redirecting and making a general muck outta it.
