Why was Adunabar banned?

I've been speaking with Adunabar all morning, who told me on logging on it reported that he was banned. May I ask why on his behalf, seeing as he cannot post? None of us can think of a reason why. I'm sure even i've done worse things than Adunabar.
Or is the glitch in the forums worse than we thought?

If Andunabar had no reason given for his ban, it's likely because he forgot to log into it for a certain amount of time, which de-activates your account.

But he's always logged on...

Would that also affect his ability to post on the forum?

Logging onto your forum account is not the same as logging on to your nations account on www.nationstates.net
Would that also affect his ability to post on the forum?
Yes.

But he can still log in, it's just not letting him post.

On an additional note, Adunabar tells me he logged into his nation on a regular baisis - which is why it is so odd. ;)

There is a known issue with the NS site today and it seems it has crept into the forums here as well.

Adunabar reports to me that he actually got a message saying he was banned by a mod.

Indeed. I have a new TG and I can't, try as I may, read it. Everytime I click on the link, it takes to the login page. So, it may well be another huge glitch with NS today.

Adunabar was deleted by mods for repeating an activity he was told not to repeat. This was far from his first warning.
If he wants more detail, he can file a Getting Help request once the game comes back up. We don't discuss it publicly.

I'd just like to say that I did not re-upload my mad hatter avatar a 3rd time.

Interesting that you should post that publicly, given that is *not* what you sent me privately.
Since *you've* decided to make this public, though -- when it was deleted and you were warned the FIRST time, that should have been your clue NOT to reload it ANY more times, let alone TWICE more.

I said 3rd in the email, but I meant 2nd. I only posted like 6 or 7 times on the day before I was banned, and Archdoille saw ate least 2 of those. My avatar was not re-uploaded, however my display pic was kept up the whole time. When Fris looked at my user profile, he saw it, then jumped to the conclusion I had re-uploaded it when I hadn't. After I was told not to the 2nd time I didn't.

You've been told by multiple mods on multiple occasions that your appeal was denied. Don't bring it up again.
