Hey, just wondering but is the IRC channel #themodcave used anymore by anyone...ever? It was suppose to be a place to talk to mods over game issues wasn't it? Just wanted to know if it was even in use anymore.

yes and no...
The Esper one has fallen into disuse but there is a new one (which there are mods in - I've just checked)
the new one is located on gamesurge.

Don't expect speedy service via IRC. I'm one of the few who monitors #themodcave, and I rarely catch visitors to the channel anymore. I keep losing my connection for whatever reason. That means I won't notice your old message, and probably neither will anyone else.
If you want a game problem fixed, the Moderation Forum and Getting Help are the fastest way to catch us.

Well that explains why a few of us on IRC were able to sit in #themodcave for hours without actually meeting a mod.

I do check the Gamesurge channel several times a day to see if any non-mods are in there. As far as I know, nobody checks the Esper.net channel at all anymore, so any activity there would be utterly wasted.
