I know I've been pushing the line myself lately, but I'd like to think the above post is really quite a bit beyond said line. OOC racism is going to derail the thread so, I request it either be deleted, or split off.

Edit: I've reread, and I slightly misinterpreted it. Well, I still think 'savage customs' is pretty awful, but if it's allowed to stand so be it.

If the poster were adopting an IC persona, I'd have let it stand. The real-world references and a check of his nation's RMB makes it seem more likely than not that it's OOC, in which case I think it fits the "even if you sincerely believe it, it's still trolling" definition. Hence, removed.

I know, I had racist IC characters. My concern, to be honest, was more with subsequent responses, but assuming everyone leaves the post alone, then I consider the matter closed.

Don't know what SOP is in cases like this, but in my opinion you could let him know from the start what posting decorum is.

He knows what posting etiquette is. He's an EDiot - a troll from EncyclopediaDramatica. He'll cross the threshold into perma-ban territory soon enough.
