I would say that Ryou/Hataria/Steppe Empire/Eastern Arab Union would know better. See the sixth image down.

Not that I have anything against such, just that other users of a PG-13 forum might not be too happy with such.

Considering it took me about 20 seconds to even NOTICE you could see the girl's panties, it's not really that bad.

I'm with Ryou on this, it's not really that inappropriate, it is a bikini bottom.

I'm not saying I'm offended with it (just a shiny veneer on the rotten wood underneath). Just that Ryou/Hataria/Steppe Empire/Eastern Arab Union could've had a bit more sense. But leave this to the mods to decide.

Not a mod....

But - I think the problem would likely lie less with the type of garment worn (I can see how they could be construed as bikini bottoms), and more with the fact that the panties/bikini-bottoms leave little to the imagination in terms of the anatomy they are supposed to be covering.

I'm not sure how explicit the rules allow you to be, with reference to fan-service. I'd say that, if the question can reasonably come up, you probably went too far.

Again - not a mod.

Oh yeah, I totally didn't catch that the first time I looked. Is that supposed to be a crease, a cameltoe, or just thin enough to see her hole? I'm not sure...

This is nonsense! In a PG-13 movie they are allowed to show bikinis and the likes, its when those bikinis are not where they are suppoused to it has gone to far. If anything in this thread is wrong, it is the discription of "how beautiful all Ryouese are" when he go in depth about how his people look they way they do; a full blown mass raping. That is what went too far.

I find the following to be much more disturbing then those pictures:

The reason for this goes back to the Ryouese Invasions of Polynesia. stealing young girls and boys from their Islands, the Ryouese males and females soon took those they captured to a Island near Xanadou. Polynesian Warriors, chaseing down the kidnappers soon heard The Screams of many people. Thinking it was Ghosts, the warriors rowed back in fear.

But The Truth was the Screams were of the young boys and Women being raped in a Orgy buy Ryouese Warriors of the same ages (Ancent Ryouese Warriors were of both sexes). Soon, the Ryouese women were with child, along with the Captured Polynesian women.

Granted, I have seen worse posted on NS, so I am still a-okay mentally. I also have no idea if this is actionable.

Not like I care since I have not posted on one of Ryu's threads since I was given a 24-hour ban.

Whats the problem? I don't see anything wrong with any of those pictures, and even if it did show a lot I doubt anybody would notice if not pointed out to them.

Whether or not YOU 'see anything wrong' is kind of irrelevent. Personally, I don't 'see anything wrong' with explicit porn, but that doesn't mean it would be okay to post it on Nationstates.

This. Given the posts here, it's obvious that the question can reasonably come up.

Like RhynoD, I didn't see any problem at first glance, and I'm still of the "evil be to him who evil thinks" school of thought. With that much doubt, I'm certainly not going to penalise The Ryou Black Islands for posting it.

I'm also aware of the dangers of self-censorship -- NS owes a duty to Jolt to stick by its rules, but not to take them further than intended.

So: on the pic, I'll remove it for now and talk it over with the other mods.

On the complaint about the mass rape, it's not explicit and hence not against the rules. The post just says what happened, it doesn't go into lurid detail.

Although I must say that this kind of offense is easy on the eyes, I can vouch for the accuracy of this statement. It's right next to the one that was MODEDITed.

Well, now it's not.

Ryou's lack of judgment is under discussion.

Re pics: guidelines:
female, pudenda visible -- don't post.
female, labia visible -- don't post.

With, of course, the usual qualifications about circumstances, etc. So if anyone's already started hunting for pics that do not meet these guidelines but are nonetheless postable, don't bother.

I am trying to find one that meets the Guidelines.

Must you find a picture of a cat-human hybrid wearing a bikini? Why not one wearing a kimono or something?

Given that this came so close to the line and was removed would it be possible/useful to put a link here to the image for anyone interested in what counts as being right on the edge.

Ryou, I am trying to make it clear: you are in serious trouble.

You posted one pic that might have been a breach of Jolt's standards. I discussed it with other mods and told you the picture would stay deleted. That was a pretty clear indication that the picture had been ruled inappropriate.

Discussion in this thread made clear what the problem was with that picture -- specifically, this accurate description:

... the problem would likely lie less with the type of garment worn (I can see how they could be construed as bikini bottoms), and more with the fact that the panties/bikini-bottoms leave little to the imagination in terms of the anatomy they are supposed to be covering

So why would you go and post another picture that is even more clearly not appropriate?

I am giving you a 24-hour ban, which will give you time to figure out what's wrong with the pics you chose. Don't post any more like it, in that spot, in that thread or anywhere else in the NS forums when you come back.

Whether any further action is taken will depend on the outcome of a review of your actions on these forums.

EDIT: Sarrowquand, usually I admire your good sense, so think about that one a bit. We've just said "this pic is not suitable on this forum". So we're gonna re-post it? No. Not.

It's simple really. As stated previously in this thread, if you can find the picture at all questionable, don't post it.

Fair enough, my curiosity was getting the better of me there as I'd posted on that thread earlier and not noticed anything reportable, though I didn't expect you to post the image onto jolt I can see why you'd rather just bury this and move on.
