Heikoku, you have a yellow-card warning for your "not wishing death" post. While you're entitled to your opinion, your method of expressing it, in the context of repeated advice from other players to tone it down, amounts to trolling.

Very well, but I'd like to know what is it that CH's comparing me to Mengele or a dictator "with sexual slaves", and so on, amount to.

CH's remarks "amount to" the personal-remarks posts I warned both of you about.

Your specific post was an over-the-top expression of your legitimate opinion. You've been warned before, by me and by other posters, in almost every US political thread, to turn it down a bit because the tone and repetition is offensive/annoying.

Thus, the infraction card amounted to a kick on the ankle because I couldn't get you to listen to any of us any other way.

For that matter, what's a "yellow" card, specifically in relation to a red one?

Yellow card's an infraction. If you've got one, your next offence might get you another yellow, might get you a red card, but could get you a ban. Three red cards get you an automatic 24-hour ban.

You're on a seven-day leash if you get any sort of infraction. If you get another within those seven days, the "leash" resets, so it's 7 days from the second offence.

In my case, I'm largely using them as an aide-memoire, to keep up with whether I've given people friendly warnings, official warnings or bans.

(You could think of them as kicks to the ankle, kicks to the groin and kicks that put you into a low orbit.)

They don't replace our existing system. A "cut it out" still means "take cover" or "head for the hills", depending on circumstances. Some offences stilll get hammered and some still get a slap on the wrist. We don't do moderation-by-numbers.

EDIT: If you were inquiring about the CH quote I missed that Trostia had in his post, I've now edited (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13952253&postcount=270) that.
