Is it possible to remove the vestigial formating tags from my resolution http://www.nationstates.net/40043/page=UN_proposal before it comes to vote?

Judging from previous times when people have asked for things like this, I'd assume that the only way is by deleting the whole thing.

No, we can't edit anything in the proposals queue. We can delete or ignore, nothing in between. Had you looked at it when you posted, you could have posted it a second time and requested removal of the first. Please pay closer attention in future.
If you want, I can take it down now. Your choice.

Given the difficulty in getting ANOTHER 120+ delegates to vote for it, I'd advise against having it deleted.
You say you can't change anything in the proposal queue; can you alter them when they're added to passed resolutions?

No, or at least, they never have in the past, even where it meant illegal proposals passing.

I'm not sure it's the same, is it? Altering bbcode tags left over from drafting that aren't part of the resolution aren't the same thing, are they? I think the unwillingness of the moderators to remove illegal passed resolutions is something else entirely.

I don't think we're talking about unwillingness of the moderators, but a technical inability.

Well i certainly will be more carefull in future. But no i don't want you to take down my proposal now thanks anyway. I'm hoping that the vestigial tags wont invalidate the entire resolution since they don't seem to change anything within it. My own problem with them was really one of appearances anyway.
I'm sorry for my mistake but it's fairly difficult to everything right when your doing this for only the second time and with only a couple of exceptions on your own. But like i said i'll remember in future.
