I think you might want to provide a link to the post or thread so that the mods can see the infraction themselves.

I demand he be banned after calling me "A mental turd"

Are you sure it was rendered as an insult?

Remember, turds are the end result of nutrients and digestion, are rich in nitrogens vital for life, and are a crucial contributor to the ecosphere.

Perhaps by calling you a "mental turd", he was saying that your ideas are like a thick, slow moving log of thought, pungent with the potent odor of potential, rotating slowly but fecundly in the bowl of the forum, leaving the occasional brown smear of cogent argument.

Congratulations, sir. You have left us a floater of genius.

Might not want to demand anything. Just report it with a link. Also there's no rule against foul language, but there is against personal attacks.

Cargodad, why is it that you feel the need to put that yellow warning thingy with the exclamation point on every thread you start? We can see your thread just fine without it.

He probably wants to make sure that we notice him. The use of icons indicate that he has something worthwhile to say and increases the chance of us agreeing wholeheartedly with him. You know I'm right, because I'm a cool dude. Check the icon if you don't believe me.

Cargodad, if you're going to report an infraction, you should start off by NOT demanding anything of the mods. They're here and doing this thankless job on their own free time. You should be polite in your initial request and for simplicity sake, keep the message to the point.

ie: "Burning Soul is being offensive." Then include a link to the offending post so that the mods don't have to go searching through a plethora of threads searching for the one post you didn't like.

Also, while this is my opinion, I would like to point out that if this is the person's first offense, they will likely just get a warning (like the rest of us). To get a ban, you need to do worse. To get a perma-ban... let's not even go there.

You may want to look at this link before posting (in moderation again):

Guide to the Moderation Forum (READ BEFORE POSTING) (NO, SERIOUSLY. READ THIS FIRST) (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=438203)

I'm gathering from your initial post that you didn't read this. I suggest you venture back, take a gander at the link I gave you then come back and explain your problem.

Oh and... mods (once they do come here)

Can I get a better title? It stinks worse than total horse manure left to bake in the sun of the Sahara desert. I don't care if it's random or meaningless; just anything but my current one please. ^_^ and of course thanks.

Cargodad, report game infractions via Getting Help, not the forums.

If it was a telegram, don't delete it.

Use the checkbox to capture the Regional Messageboard, if that's where the offense took place.

When you're throwing out insults yourself, don't be surprised when some get thrown back at you. Grow some skin, and perhaps a backbone. Your region "Destruction of Dementia" and the various abusive comments on your boards are not likely to be well received in Burning Soul's region "Dementia".

It's quite clear that you and the other members (and former members) of Dementia all know each other in real life. Don't bring your real world issues to NationStates Mods and expect us to make everything better.

Also, don't use us as a weapon against people who irritate you in the real world. We really don't appreciate being used for that.

Finally, this game supports a PC-13 level of language and behavior. If the insult you listed bothers you, perhaps this game is too mature for you. Consider leaving and coming back in a few years when you've grown up a bit.

* Kryozerkia, check your UserCP for editing capabilities. Anecdotal evidence suggests that you have the ability to edit your user title at your post level, an ability not yet granted to the moderators.
