"liberal dumbasses, a redundant term," strikes me as mild flamebait, but not really actionable. The rest of the quoted posts appear to be opinion.

If you don't agree with his positions, refute him.

What about when he admits to deliberate trolling?

Good enough for a Red Card http://assets.jolt.co.uk/forums/nation_states/buttons/redcard.gif (one of the nifty new Infractions).

What does a red card translate to forumwise?

Three of them in seven days means a 24-hour ban.

Of course, the Hammer of Mod may still fall upon the unrighteous from a clear blue sky.

Flaming me:

Nice claim but, as usual, lacks a factual basis. Perhaps someday we will actually witness your vaunted powers of argument instead of having you just yap about it. Not likely considering your emotional instability.

The fact that you, and others of your ignorant, emotionally crippled ilk, ridicule me only serves to prove that I am correct in my world view.

It seems to me that you started the whole thing by flaming him, and therefore I ask how you expected him to respond. Also, the second two examples in your OP are not even close to flaming, unless you think that anyone who disagrees with your world view is a flamer.

So, "liberals and leftists deserve pity" isn't a flame, but questioning someone's ability to make a point is?

Feel free to try and make that case, bearing in mind that Ardchoille didn't seem to see reason for action in it.

Is there something that sums up all the new mod type powers in single document, save you answering these questions everytime you use one?

Okay, this is getting ridiculous:

http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13878315&postcount=134

The guy has been baiting me and trying to rile me for about a day now, in several instances. I don't care about his reasons, he has to stop!

Edit, to add another one:

Now delusions of persecution!

And another:

Mentally unbalanced assholes like yourself?

The action I saw reason for, and took, was to tap you on the shoulder (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13875875&postcount=39) and point out that you needed to step back a bit. I usually find that people appreciate an attempt to stop them over-reacting and embarrassing themselves.

Evidently, though, I should have tried a good swift kick to a more sensitive area, a shortcoming I will make up for now by giving you a red card for flamebaiting through off-topic attacks on an individual poster.

I am also adding to The Smiling Frogs' collection by giving him a second red card for flaming for the personal comment -- not for the argument -- in this post (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13878660&postcount=160).

The effect of that will be that he will have to mind his Ps and Qs very carefully for the next 14 days, or he will be banned.

You have to mind yours for a mere seven days.

It does not seem to me that requiring people to be reasonably polite to each other for a limited period is setting the bar too high, but we shall see.

EDIT: Heikoku, I see that the system has referred you to the post you made in this thread as the source of your infraction. It isn't; your posts throughout the church shooting thread were the cause.
