Great news and all, but still...

Seems OK to me, it's presenting an interesting current event for our members to comment on. I'm going to let it stay.

Remember, this is from the *same* self-obsessed poster who vehemently cries out any time anyone brings them into question for their mannerisms, who says everyone *else*'s issues are regional and miniscule, and who tells everyone not to make the issue out to be about him. For those disingenuous reasons, almost everything they end up posting carries a undertone of flamebaiting/trolling. I guess we could look back on his Moderation history if there needs to be some support for that ....
Here is a predictable result that appears to support my assertion (even though it isn't him posting):

This particular case, however, doesn't play out so far as Fass wanting to bring something to attention that, even though he is largely personally biased as such, is larger scope for personal/individual freedoms contrasting with assumed and often antiquated social mores.
Yet.
EDIT: Did i say, "Yet."?

I don’t think Straughn who the poster is, is the issue here despite his hypocrisy. The main issue here is that someone has posted an editorial and just posted along with the editorial a rant, very much a blog.

Why yes, and the all the talk and highlighted parts in the editorial I translated about the 70 countries and worldwide persecution and European events, and this being Europride... yup, oh, so regional. And I guess highlighting topics for discussion by actually highlighting them and giving my opinion on them isn't enough to convey what I want to discuss, as I have not only to lead the horse to water, I have to put a hose down its throat and pump its stomach full of water manually, I guess.

Yet, here you are, trying to make the issue be about me as basically you're saying: "don't moderate on it from the point of view whether it is a rules infraction or not, moderate on it based on who the poster is because, waah, I dislike him so". Hmm, interesting appeal for the mods to carry out a vendetta for you. I do not think that's what they're here for, though, or that they wish to be here for it, either.
As a mod has already ruled, this will be my only comment on this as the "accused".

Move on, people, there's already been a moderator decision.
