It could be considered flamebait.
However, regular posters do form an impression of each other's views on regular topics. In context, I'd see this more as an attempt at humour rather than malicious misrepresentation.
Cookiton, mods appreciate players' assistance, but it should usually be something that could affect a ruling, such as links to precedents or further examples.
